Meet Alcide

Alcide Honoré is a dedicated and zealous lawyer and founder of Honoré Law, LLC. His transactional practice includes counseling established and start-up business enterprises, entertainment law, and contract drafting and negotiation. Since entering the practice of law, Alcide has managed to seamlessly weave his professional background, personal connections, and wide range of experience into his practice.

Alcide earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and African/African-American studies at Duke University and obtained his JD and MA (political science) from Georgia State University. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Intellectual Property and Sports & Entertainment Law Sections.

Before entering law school, Alcide worked in the financial services industry as a licensed stockbroker.   While in law school, Alcide received awards for his performance in Basic Taxation and Race Law. Alcide is a former Adjunct Professor at Clark Atlanta University where he taught a seminar on Law and Social Work. Currently he serves as board secretary of Vox Teen Communications.

Alcide is an adventurer at heart, and enjoys engaging with new people, places and things when the opportunity presents itself.  Alcide is a reformed sneaker head and retired poker player and doesn’t hesitate to indulge in either activity when the opportunity presents itself.  According to Alcide, his best natural talent is in the visual arts, he is sure that in a past life he was a starving artist. A loving father of 4 beautiful children, Alcide is an avid music enthusiast and loves to travel with his family.
